The thing I hate the most about Eddy's brother is how much of a coward he is. Guy looks like he's at least 18 yet he bullies a bunch of ten year olds.

There's one episode you also forget in addition to "An Ed is Born" and "Ed in a Half Shell". The episode "Ed... Pass it on". The ending of that episode after the fact that Eddy spread a massive rumor about his brother coming back to the cul-de-sac where Sarah and Jimmy play a prank on the Eds where they impersonated Eddy's brother to the point where Sarah threatened him over them not getting ice cream drops a massive hint that Eddy is actually scared shitless of "Big Bro" There are a couple of other hints throughout the continuity of the show but if that's not one massive indicator about what the dynamic between the two actually are I honestly and sincerely do not know what is.

That ending, ahh priceless.

And yet everything that led up to this movie. Learning how much Eddie admired his brother. Seeing the fear from Rulf and Kevin. The few episodes that were about him. Eddie’s brother may not have been in the show but his presence and what he left behind was proof of how much a monster he really was. This movie and it’s story where nailed perfectly. It’s just that ending with Eddie finally coming to terms with who his brother really is. That look on his face of pure sadness and pain from a character that’s always laughing and loud. It makes me cry for him little bit.

Eddy had it coming. Eddy ABSOLUTELY had it coming. Everything he did in this show, everything he pulled, everyone he hurt, everyone he lied to. He had this COMING.

Seeing Ed Edd n' Eddy narrated with the shitty video essayist voice makes me want to vomit out my own spleen

The worst aspect of all of this isn't just what's being done, or who is doing it, but that if you strip this to the studs, this is an adult gleefully torturing a child in front of other children in public with no concern for any consequences. The fact that witnesses are present, child or adult, and this is a public place where other people might see does nothing to deter Eddy's brother or give him even a moment's hesitation, despite this being double-digit prison sentence territory. It's genuinely psychotic behavior.

I'm proud of Ed in the scene, he took out a monster without using his muscles and using his brain.

I was absolutely pissed cause we were actually finally supposed to see what was under Double D’s hat in the movie. However for whatever reason the idea was scrapped. As far as I know there aren’t even any deleted scenes of how the big reveal was supposed to happen.

I also notice that you can see the kanker sisters Marie and May holding back Lee because she wanted to help Eddy but her sisters knew she was no match for Eddy’s brother

I teared up hearing you describe how you viewed yourself. Sudden outbursts of anger are a symptom of many mood disorders, but I'm not going to try to internet diagnose you. What I am going to say is that my grandfather had Intermittent Explosive Disorder, something that he was unable to afford treatment for, and he was still able to find the love of his life, have children he raised mostly well (no parent is flawless), be employed, pursue hobbies he loved and live a full life. You are not a monster. He was not a monster, although he sometimes felt that way about himself and had to sometimes sit down and explain himself and apologize to my mom and her siblings. I'm not going to say "and therefore your concerns are invalid", because that kind of trite thing drives me nuts and is deeply unhelpful toxic positivity. But I will say that having a flaw is not the deciding factor in if you can live a full life or a life you enjoy. It's not always easy, but it's completely possible to live a good life even with a very serious mental health issue. And I'm really glad that this show was able to help get that point across to you when you needed it most. I'm really grateful you made this video. I'm not as into SU as I used to be and yet I'll always have so much fondness in my heart for how it helped people in all kinds of ways, from all kinds of demographics. Thank you for making this video.

That was quite a twist that explains why Eddy acts the way he does until now. It turns out the things that Eddy said he admired about his brother were lies and the truth is exactly what we saw him do to Eddy: he's a sadistic bully who tortured Eddy throughout his childhood and made his life a living hell.

When I think of great series finales, the first show that comes to mind is...Star Trek: The Next Generation, but Big Picture Show is a damn close second place.

You missed a major hint in “An Ed is Born!” In that episode, the Eds make a movie to send to Eddy’s brother to prove how successful and grown up Eddy is. In the scene where they make a final attempt at making Eddy look cool in his room with cardboard cutouts of the neighborhood kids, Eddy says, “No more beating up little Eddy.” It was a Freudian slip that is definitive proof that Eddy’s brother is not what Eddy claims he is.

Remember how Rolf and Kevin freaked out at the idea that Eddys brother was around in that one episode? I think its that everyone else is just a little to young to actually remember what the guy was really like but Rolf and Kevin do. Eddys brother probably bullied everyone and Kevin held a grudge on Eddy for it, since he seemed to dislike Eddy specifically. Seeing this probably made him realize that Eddy got it worse than anyone else and he couldn't hold the grudge anymore.

Overall I feel bad for Eddy because family don't have your back. Friendship is always there to pick you up when you are down for the count.
